    This beautiful state-of-the-art facility consists of a one story laboratory building and a two story office building connected by a two story main lobby totaling 52,800 square feet. The building will temporarily serve as the home of the Bioinfomatics program. The structure is constructed with a steel frame, composite steel and concrete floor decks, utility brick veneer and aesthetic storefront residing in one of the country's most advanced and respected corporate research centers.

    Team-Build project consisting of the construction of a 3-story, 22,600 square foot addition to accommodate a relocated computer processing center, a new television production studio with supporting amenities, administrative space, training and conference rooms, and a new main entry atrium lobby. Extensive phased renovations of approximately 25,000 square feet to the existing building were performed concurrently. All work was completed while maintaining the owner's ongoing operations. Intensive pre-construction planning facilitated A reduction of the initial budget by over $1.6 million.

General building plans are similar, with each having some unique features or finishes. Each sorority building contains 10,000 square feet, and each building is 3 stories in height The buildings are connected by a trellised promenade. The project also included a new site access road, utilities, and related site amenities.

    This project consisted of the construction of a new seven-story, 86,000 square foot Science Center facility connecting two existing buildings of approximately 45,000 square feet each and subsequent renovations to the interior space in the existing historic buildings.     This 60,000 square foot office building was constructed for the University of Virginia Foundation in Charlottesville, Virginia for leasing to the University of Virginia Health Services. The fiber optic/data communication network that was integrated into the building allows high bandwidth teleconferencing/data exchange with remote hospitals.

    New one-story, state-of-the-art Medical Office Building in the upscale Westlake area at Smith Mountain Lake. The attractive new modern facility includes an imaging department with both x-ray and CT Scan functions, and a sleep lab. The building serves as an urgent care facility for area residents and includes a helipad. Comprehensive pre-construction services were provided from the outset of the building concept, including establishment of the project budget, and managed construction of the 12,000 square foot facility in less than nine months.

Unique project components include a beautiful free flowing circular staircase in the atrium and a large underground service dock. Built on an extremely challenging site with regard to grade, sub-terrain, and access.

    Construction of a new student residence hall to provide housing for 250 students. Gaines Hall was designed and built to blend with the historical style of the Washington & Lee University campus and historic Lexington, Virginia. The two adjacent wings of the building were built simultaneously and tied together by a beautiful circular entrance plaza at the project's completion operating on a compressed construction scheduled to meet the start of the Washington & Lee University's academic year.

    Construction of a 69,000 square foot worship center with a seating capacity of 2,800 people as an addition to an existing building. This addition included space for a choir rehearsal room and administrative space for the music director. There is a complete first floor and partial second, third, and fourth floors. The specifications called for an extensive theatrical lighting and sound system in the worship center. All seating in the worship center is located on the first floor and on one balcony level. The balcony structure was designed so that only two supporting columns are visible on the first floor main seating area. This new sanctuary enhances the television broadcast of the church's services.

    Construction of a new 20,262 SF Elizabethan Theatre modeled after Shakespeare's Blackfriars Playhouse. The theater is located in Historic Downtown Staunton, Virginia. The theatre was built in-between an existing building and required expert management to handle the difficult site access. Construction was comprised of a concrete and steel structure with wood framing for the theatre, a copper roof, wood roof trusses, heavy timber trim and an exterior brick façade.
