Turner Long Construction has been awarded the Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital Emergency Department renovations project. This fast-track, three-phase project wil require the complete renovation of 8,304 square feet located in the core of the Emergency Department in the south pavilion of the hospital. 

November 2016

Carilion Tazewell Community Hospital celebrated the opening of its new Family Practice Clinic, which will also be utilitized by the Veterans Administration. This 5,000 sf, fast-track project exemplified team work at its finest. The Turner Long project team, the hospital's facilities' staff, and all of the subcontractors worked closely together to resolve challenges throughout the project and meet an unusually tight timeline.

September 2016

The Virginia Department for the Blind and Visually Impaired is set to move into its new office on Franklin Road, in Roanoke. Turner Long Construction completed this fast-track project, renovating 3,843 sf to accommodate a lobby/waiting room, an open office area, file room, conference room, work room, server room, break room/kitchen, storage office and three bathrooms.

October 2016

Turner Long Construction completed renovations to the Nuclear Medicine Department at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. The new facility was relocated to the first floor of the hospital and will provide inpatient servcies. The existing space was completely demolished and new finishes, plumbing, mechanical, and electric systems were installed. The 5,000 sf space now has a reception/waiting room, treatment rooms, related reading rooms, three holding bays with curtains, a stress lab, three large scanning rooms, a staff room, and break lounge.
